Bill also keeps abreast of the latest trends in local and international fashion and jewellery through a network of senior contacts in design houses and the fashion media, and by regularly visiting shows, trade fairs and suppliers in Australia and overseas. Whether dealing with a $2,000 or $20,000 commission, the development of a totally new piece or the renovation or remodelling of existing jewellery, Bill’s approach is the same. “I’ll guide the client through every step of the way. It takes time but I guarantee the client that it will be worth it,” he says.
